Migraine Awareness Month Blog Challenge Day 4

What symbol helps give you hope for living with Migraine and Headaches?

I don’t think I have one specific symbol that gives me hope.  A couple different things can mean relief for me – my various pills. The tiny blue and yellow capsules of Cymbalta promise continuous relief if I take them daily. They are a double edged sword. One missed dose leaves me with one of the worst migraines of my life. White Tylenol, blue aleve, brown ibuprofen all mean potential immediate relief. The imitrex wrapped in it’s tin blister packet mean relief from the worst of the pain. The pills provide management and relief I couldn’t survive without. They mean normality, or as close to normal as I can get. They allow me to live my life not in fear or pain but fully.
